The
European Risk Institute brings together public authorities,
industrialists and researchers wishing
to improve pro-active
regional management of
major risks, and technological
risks in particular, based on examples in Upper
and Lower Normandy and through a European exchange network.
In order to maintain
on-going dialogue and support the emergence of a common
risk culture, which takes into account social demand,
it intends to enhance awareness
among regional authorities and to intermediate between
managers and experts.
